WD_D6A0This article is substantial. Its content is sobering and may require several views before it is fully indulged. I believe this to be fresh insight and it is to be applied in our approach as we move from one season and into the next.

What’s God going to say to my questions? I’m braced for the worst. I’ll climb to the lookout tower and scan the horizon. I’ll wait to see what God says, how he’ll answer my complaint.

And then God answered: “Write this. Write what you see. Write it out in big block letters so that it can be read on the run. This vision-message is a witness pointing to what’s coming. It aches for the coming—it can hardly wait! And it doesn’t lie. If it seems slow in coming, wait. It’s on its way. It will come right on time. (Habakkuk 2: 1-3 MSG)

As mortals, it is very difficult for us to understand God’s timing.

When one prophesies, we listen, hold on to and watch with great expectations; believing for things that are not yet in existence. It is all done with steadfastness in our faith. We must hold on to God’s Word and the promises He has made.

Stay away from absolutes where timing and delivery are concerned, because if things don’t turn out quite like we expect, we begin to struggle against the will of God.

The body of Christ is currently in motion, moving from here to there. There being a place of growth and establishment, a place of victory over defeat. Here being a place of experience and patience. We are moving into a new land. We are moving into the harvest of souls.

Today the Heavens are open to you.

God also says: “When the time’s ripe, I answer you. When victory’s due, I help you. I form you and use you to reconnect the people with me, to put the land in order, to resettle families on the ruined properties. I tell prisoners, ‘Come on out. You’re free!’ and those huddled in fear, ‘It’s all right. It’s safe now.’

There’ll be food stands along all the roads, picnics on all the hills— Nobody hungry, nobody thirsty, shade from the sun, shelter from the wind, For the Compassionate One guides them, takes them to the best springs. I’ll make all my mountains into roads, turn them into a superhighway. Look: These coming from far countries, and those, out of the north, these streaming in from the west, and those from all the way down the Nile!” (Isaiah 49:8-12 MSG)

Corporately, we must all come together. It’s time that we (the body) achieve unity in our walk. It’s far too easy to disagree. We need to stop resisting each other and focus on resisting the devil. Many of you need to know that God is on our side.

We are in a spiritual battle.  In the heat of battle, we sometimes lose our focus, get flustered, and even become disoriented. If we remain in these states, we lose our ability to identify friend from foe.

The disappointments from last season may seem to be great in number, but in this new season you will have clear recollection of where you’ve been and the lessons you have learned. This season, you will lead others who are walking where you’ve walked, and you will be able to minister to them like never before.

This season, expect a bountiful harvest!

Heavens, raise the roof! Earth, wake the dead! Mountains, send up cheers! God has comforted his people. He has tenderly nursed his beaten-up, beaten-down people. But Zion said, “I don’t get it. God has left me. My Master has forgotten I even exist.” (Isaiah 49:13-14 MSG)

Do not be discouraged, hold on. Help has arrived. Remain steadfast in your faith!

Mythology tells a tale of dragons, oracles, and gods. Although you can’t believe everything you read, some things are worth a second glance. In this particular tale I am about to mention, there is a creature by the name of Πύθων, which is Greek for Python or Pythos.

This character is serpent-like with arms and legs. It guards the center of the earth, which is referred to in the tale as Hellenes, better known as Hell.

I have mentioned before that there are many spirits upon this earth and who could name them all? However, the Python is an earth spirit, and it is very real.

For many of us, the Python has wrapped itself so tightly around us that we are now short of breath, exhausted and weak, ready to be devoured. The grip at times is so ferocious that we become light-headed, lose sight, and even faint.

Do you ever get insight on something or someone, and suddenly you seem to have the green light for ministry, then “all of a sudden” you feel weak and tired?  Your mental focus deteriorates, and you’re left feeling completely exhausted? Scatterbrained, you struggle to speak what’s on your mind.

These are just a few telltale signs of the Pythos spirit.

Others have made reference to this spirit.  A prophet named Kim Clement held a conference in 2010 entitled Pythos. In the flyer for the event was found this scripture:

“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary walks about like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour. Resist him, steadfast in the faith…” (1 Peter 5:8)

When I was a teenager, a friend of mine had a pet snake, a six foot Red-tailed Boa Constrictor. We left the snake in the car one afternoon while we went into a store. When we came out, the snake was gone.

We had locked the doors and had no idea what could’ve happened to such a large snake. As far as we could tell, there were no openings that it could even fit through for an escape.

After a few moments, we found it up under the dashboard. It had wrapped itself around the car’s frame. We could only see a small section of it. These things are just one huge muscle, and they love to flex.

We knew we had to get it out of the car, so we opened the glove box. Inside, we could see another portion of the snake’s body. We reached in with our hands and fought the grip of this creature for forty-five minutes.

Finally, after a tremendous battle of strength and endurance, we pulled the snake free of the car. This happened over fifteen years ago and has just now flooded my memory bank.

The Lord said to me today, “Remember the struggle you had with that creature? Remember how you said to yourself, ‘I’m not letting go, no matter what. I will pull this thing in two, if need be, in order to get it out of this car.’ Do you remember the commitment you made to seeing it through?”

I laughed to myself and said, “Yes, I remember that.”

He said, “This is no different. I allowed you to experience that so you would better understand what is needed for today. Make that same commitment: No matter what….”

This spiritual attack is a serious threat, but we must remember that God is bigger than any adversary we will ever meet. He has been calling us to a deeper place of intimacy. It is in our relationship with Him that we find our strength to resist our enemies.

However, we must hold on until His arrival. It will be in His timing that things come and things go and not our own. Rest assured, He has not forgotten you.

“Can a mother forget the infant at her breast, walk away from the baby she bore? But even if mothers forget, I’d never forget you—never. Look, I’ve written your names on the backs of my hands. The walls you’re rebuilding are never out of my sight.

Your builders are faster than your wreckers. The demolition crews are gone for good. Look up, look around, look well! See them all gathering, coming to you? As sure as I am the living God”—God’s Decree— “you’re going to put them on like so much jewelry, you’re going to use them to dress up like a bride. (Isaiah 49:15-18 MSG)

Remain faithful and steadfast. You are the bride of Christ, and in His timing, all things will come to pass.
